Just wanted to touch base with you cod4 cats. I going to get a steady diet of this game until the next one comes out so I can hit the ground running. For the time being I'll be playing mostly non-hardcore matches because my wireless lags a bit and I lag a bit when I smoke...lol...but if I'm needed I have no problem going wired. I only have 1 request and that is for the people with mics to talk the talk. I don't even care if we're losing we gotta be able to talk shit. Most of the maps I've played with the new guys have been silent and that gets boring. I got no problem with the text chat and think it's a great tool for strategy. So having that said I wanted to know who may thinking of getting MW2. I want to beging developing squad based strategies for general and advanced engagements.

| UPDATING REAL LIFE STATS |

I'll be taking a little retreat from gaming in order to advance in a career in the electronics technology field. This is one of those must do things. I'm looking on the bright side. This choice will provide the following:
-MORE $
-A salary job where hopefully I would have ample free time
-An excellent understanding of electronic devices with a above normal understanding of programing and information technology
I'm letting my little brother hold onto my ps3 for now (dont need the distraction). I will however, be building a gaming pc and testing it out. If anyone wants to do some pc let me know. I'll be on the sight every once in awhile keeping tabs, though it looks very abandoned.
I would like to bring a tech aspect to this site for everyone's gaming advantage.

-THIS NEWS IS DIRECTLY FROM THIS MONTHS GAMEINFORMER MAGAZINE.
EX-DEVELOPER FREE RADICAL STRUGGLES WITH PROJECT
Wondering what might have been is an easy question when talking about the closing of famed U.K developer Free Radical. The now-defunct studio behind the Timesplitters franchis was well regarded, and our intrest was piqued all the more since they had been working on Star Wars:Battlefront III for close to two years when they closed there doors.Recently a video was released showing gameplay from the title, but despite the excitement it generated, a source close to the project told GameInformer "THAT ALL WAS NOT WELL".
The video that was leaked online, as poor quality as it was, highlighted the series emphasis on wide open battles and seamless transitions between ground and air combat exteriors and interiors. Battlefont 3 would have spanned a wide range of characters and locations throughout all six of the movies (IN BOTH 1ST and 3RD PERSON VIEWS), including Jedi duels, a Rancor, and epic space battles. Early artwork for the game even showed an Obi-Wan Kenobi who had turned to the dark side of the force.
As tantalizing as all this sounds, Free Radical`s Battlefront III dream was having trouble becomming realized. The video footage leaked online supposedly captured from the PC version of the title, and EVEN THAT WASN`T AN ACCURATE PORTRAYAL of the true state of the project. It was in fact, a mess.
The design was said to be overly ambitious, AIMING TO SUPPORT 100 PLAYER ONLINE battles with the ability to seamlessly transition between ground and space combat. Free Radical shrank this number as development progressed due to the technical limitations it encountered, and GameInformer has heard that this number has fell to 16 players, but even this was to much for the console versions to handle.
To counter the falling number of human controlled players, Free Radical tried to implement an AI NPC system that also proved to be to unwieldy.
Regardless of the state of the project during Free Radical`s tenure, we may yet see some version of Star Wars Battlefront III. Rumor is that Oxford Studio Rebellion, developers of Star Wars Renegade Squadron for the PSP, has been handed the development reigns. We shall have to wait and see if Rebellions vision of the project succeeds where Free Radical could not.
